Do I need WiFi for the VDP-27-TS to work?

No. The intercom function is fully wired and works without WiFi or internet. The Tuya / Smart Life app is an optional feature that activates only when WiFi is available — useful when you want to answer the door from your phone while away from home.

Can I add more than one indoor screen?

Yes. The system supports multiple indoor screens — useful for two-storey villas, large houses, or shops where you want a screen at both the entrance and the back counter.

Will it open my electric gate lock?

Yes. The indoor screen and the Tuya app both have unlock buttons that trigger a 12V output to your electric strike, electric bolt, or maglock. Standard for most main gates and apartment doors in Pakistan.

Can I use this if I already have an old 4-wire intercom installed?
